Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the RunClub mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About Us

The Service is operated by HUTCLUB LIMITED (company number 15147202), a company registered in England & Wales with its registered office at Aston House, 62-68 Oak End Way, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, SL9 8FU. Contact us at support@run-club.app.

3. Description of Service

RunClub provides a platform that connects runners with local running clubs, events and partner venues offering exclusive deals. Features include club discovery, GPS run tracking, event listings, achievements and partner venue redemptions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) post unlawful, harassing, defamatory or discriminatory content; (b) impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system; (e) use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

RunClub offers an optional Premium subscription billed via the Apple App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. To cancel, manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Immediate access and cooling-off waiver. By tapping Subscribe and being granted immediate access to Premium content, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the subscription and acknowledge that, in line with regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel for change of mind. This does not affect your other statutory consumer rights, including your rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed digital content.

Your statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Partner Venue Deals

Deals are provided by independent partner venues. Deal terms, availability and redemption rules are set by the venue and may change without notice. We do not guarantee the availability or quality of any deal and are not responsible for issues arising from deal redemption.

9. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post (run photos, posts, comments). By posting, you grant RunClub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content within the Service. You are solely responsible for content you post.

10. Privacy

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and content (other than user-generated content), is owned by HUTCLUB LIMITED and protected by intellectual property laws.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or the Service.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. GPS tracking depends on your device and location signal — we are not responsible for inaccurate distance or pace data.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUTCLUB LIMITED is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
